Ahşap askı seçerken nelere dikkat edinmeli.
Ahşap askı günümüzde kullanım özelliğinin yanında mağazacılıkta görselliğide etkisi altına almıştır. Ahşap askı doğal görünümüyle de sıcaklığı vardır. Başlangıçta ahşap askı mağaza konseptine uygun seçilse de ürün içinde kullanım fonksiyonunu da yerinde getirmesidir. Bunun için önce ürünü bozmadan aylarca taşıyacak model ve uygun ölçülerde seçim yapılması. Ahşap askıda yüzey çalışmaları ürüne zarar verecek çatlaklar ve pürüzlü yüzeylerden oluşmamalı. Üzerine atılan vernik veya boyanın mağazada koku vermemesine dikkat edilmeli.
Ahşap askıda kullanılan kancaların sağa sola dönme özelliği olması gerekir. Tek taraflı dönen kancalarda zamanla yuvasından çıkıp düşebilir. Altlarda etek ve pantolon asmak için ilave edilen mandalların ahşaba giren her iki uç kısmı tel başlarında vida dişi gibi kanalların açılması gerekir. Çünkü pantolon ve etekler aşağı doğru yük verdiklerinden mandalları tutan telin askıya girdikleri delikten çıkmamasını sağlar. Pantolon ve etek gibi ürünlerin değişik kumaşlarda yapılıp ağırlığı veya kumaşı ince nazikliği ile ilgili modeller çalışılmaktadır. Normal standartların üstünde değişiklik varsa bunu üretici firma ile paylaşıp mandalların içindeki yayların yumuşak veya sert olmasını ve de ürüne göre hazırlanması sağlanabilir. Askı üzerinde markalamalarda ise baskı(boya)-lazer-metal plaket uygulanmaktadır. Eğer ürünler çok sık şekilde asılıyorsa metal plaket ürüne zarar verebilir. Diğer çalışmaların herhangi bir zararı olmaz. Ürün sevk edilmesinde alıcının yurt içi veya yurt dışına gidecekse belirtmesi gerekir. Ahşap askıların gideceği yol uzunluğu bildirilse paketleme ona göre yapılacaktır ve nakliye sırasında ürüne zarar gelmez.

Yukarıda belirtilenler dışında üzerine asılacak herhangi başka şeylerden doğacak hasarlar garanti kapsamında değildir. Suya dayanıklı değildir. Suyla temasında zarar görebilir. Sert zeminlere darbeli teması halinde zarar görebilir. Malzemesinden dolayı yangına dayanıklı değildir. İlk yanacak malzemeler arasındadır. Ahşap askılar kuru bez ile tozu alınarak temizlenmelidir. Islak bezle silinmemelidir.
